Work Experience

Web Programmer, Reliable Sites, St. Paul, MN July 2010-Sept 2010
Worked on a variety of small miscellaneous websites, mostly in the Concrete 5 CMS.  While I loved this job and was told that they were very happy with my work, the company was sold before I had finished two months in the position.  I was not part of the assets transferred to the new owners.

President and Programmer, BikeLove, LLC, Minneapolis, MN March 2009 - October 2010
Worked in a variety of capacities trying to expand the successful web forum mplsbikelove.com into a scalable social networking platform built around the domain bikelove.org.  The idea was to create a forum for each city across the country, with one centralized member database, and expanded communications tools for non-profits, advertisers, and individual members.  Mostly, I chased funding more than anything, and in the end had to sell the mplsbikelove.com web forum in order to cover my bills when Reliable Sites closed.  I hope to come back to the bikelove.org idea at a later point in time, if I can find help developing the website and managing the day-to-day operations of the company.

Freelance Web Developer, Minneapolis, MN March 2009 - Present
Primarily worked as a subcontract or for other shops, taking concepts, Photoshop or Fireworks files and turning them into database driven websites. Hand coded most files in the Netbeans IDE, working to create CSS and xHTML sites to fit current design trends and standards.  Mostly worked within the Concrete5 CMS, but also did Wordpress and PHPBB sites.  Developed some custom applications and packages for C5 CMS.

Prepress Support Specialist, Gopher State Litho, MInneapolis, MN April 2008 - March 2009
