There were about 5 kids on skateboards or scooters but none of them crossed the lines so I didn't count them.  There were also about 6 or 7 people, maybe as many as 10 that came up on either University or 27th and cut across the gas station parking lot to make the turn from one road to the other.  These also didn't cross the line so I didn't count them, but they probably were actual traffic on both streets after this intersection, I don't know if they will figure that into the counts.  I did make a note of it in the email.

Only two people stopped to ask what I was doing, one sidewalk cyclist that said he actually had wanted to volunteer and was bummed he missed it and one other cyclist who simply asked if I was taking a survey.  Overall there were a lot more sidewalk cyclists than I was expecting but I think that was simply because of the proximity to the University.  While I was sitting there watching all these people ride by that obviously had no idea how to ride safely with traffic it got me thinking that I need to find some other ways to volunteer and try to educate people.  I've got plenty of time on my hands, I should be doing something besides just sitting around programming all the time.
